At One Chess (accessible from https://justonechess.com), the privacy of our visitors is one of our most fundamental priorities. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information that is collected and recorded by One Chess and how we use it.
Our core product commitment is Zero Account Friction: you can play chess without creating an account, submitting an email address, or verifying credentials. All chess engine evaluations run strictly on your local device via WebAssembly.
2. Log Files
One Chess follows standard hosting procedures of using log files provided by Cloudflare infrastructure. These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
3. Cookies and Web Beacons
Like any other website, One Chess uses 'cookies' to store preferences such as sound settings (muted vs. unmuted) in your browser's local storage. These cookies do not contain personally identifiable information.

Google is a third-party vendor on our site. It also uses cookies, known as DART cookies, to serve ads to our site visitors based upon their visit to justonechess.com and other sites on the internet.
